Steven W. Sansom is the founder and chairman of Green Square Capital Advisors, Green Square Family Office, Green Square Strategy and Green Square Wealth Advisors in Memphis, TN. He was previously a founder and member of the board of directors of Center Coast Capital Advisors, one of the largest independent investors in U.S. mid-stream energy infrastructure assets. Center Coast Capital owned and operated a publicly traded energy infrastructure company traded on the New York Stock Exchange as the Center Coast MLP & Infrastructure Fund (CEN). Center Coast Capital Advisors merged with Brookfield Asset Management (BAM) in 2018. Formerly, Steve was a vice president of Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York and Memphis. He began his career at Merrill Lynch Global Capital Markets in the Institutional Equity Capital Markets Group in New York, NY.

Steve currently serves on the Executive Advisory Board of Brown Brothers Harriman Capital Partners the middle markets private equity investment group at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in New York, NY. Steve is a member of the Board of Trustees of Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. Steve is a member of several additional boards, including the advisory board of The Lemoine Company, a large commercial construction enterprise in Lafayette, LA. Steve is an active member of two global leadership organizations, Chief Executives Organization and the Young Presidents Organization where he serves on various committees globally.

Previously, Steve served on the International Board of Directors of the Young Presidents Organization as Vice Chairman of the Board. He previously served on the International Education Committee, Finance Committee, and Chairman of the Southeastern Regional Board of Directors of the Young Presidents Organization. He also served on the board of trustees of Presbyterian Day School, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, Carnival Memphis, Else School of Management at Millsaps College and Charles Schwab & Co. Institutional Advisory Board in San Francisco, CA.
